Mr. Ward is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Palm Beach Capital with over twenty years of private equity and middle market M&A experience. His primary responsibilities include sourcing, structuring and negotiating investment transactions for the Firm. Post acquisition Nate works closely with portfolio companies on various operational and financial initiatives including add-on acquisitions, financings, growth initiatives, risk management, and overall strategic direction. Nate is a member of the PBC investment committee and currently serves as a board member of Pape-Dawson Engineers, United Design Partners, React Health, Universal Engineering Sciences, Growve, and Earth Systems. He has previously served as a board member of over 15 PBC portfolio companies. Nate has led investments for the Firm in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, healthcare, business process outsourcing, aviation/aerospace, consumer products, logistics, and business to business services.
Prior to founding Palm Beach Capital, Nate served as a VP of Mergers and Acquisitions at Workflow Management (Nasdaq: WORK). Nate began his career in the Corporate Lending Group at Bank of America in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mr. Ward graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and earned a M.B.A. from the University of Richmond.
