Prior to co-founding Palm Beach Capital, Mr. Schlanger founded United Envelope, an envelope manufacturer and converter, and spent most of his career as the Company’s President & CEO.
Over twenty-four years Richard grew United Envelope to over $100 million in revenues both organically and through acquisitions. In April 1997, Richard sold United Envelope to US Office Products; and then in June 1998, the Company spun off to Workflow Management (Nasdaq: WORK). Richard then served as CEO of Workflow Management’s $350 million Manufacturing division where he completed over 15 acquisitions.
Richard completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Tulane University and served in the U.S. Army for two years.
